In addition to telephone systems (IP-Centrex) from the cloud, numerous customers use Deutsche Telefon's SIP PBX connection (SIP Trunk) service. The company's management has many years of industry experience and more than 10,000 customers are already benefiting from the advantages of the innovative PBX service. The greatest possible security and reliability is a matter of course: Deutsche Telefon not only cooperates with the most important industry leaders and has an extensive network of sales, technology and service partners. The availability of the CentrexX system is also more than 99.99 percent.

The telecommunications specialist planned to expand a wide range of web applications in its communications systems, including the expansion of the customer and service center online portal and the existing integration solution. One of the main goals was to modernize historically grown structures, establish a new integration solution as a central process control component and thus achieve a future-proof setup. The biggest challenges were that the technical requirements were imprecisely formulated and consisted of a variety of different documents and artifacts. Due to the tight schedule, however, it was necessary to quickly determine the underlying technologies, as the production launch was driven by the upcoming changes.

In collaboration with Brandmonks IT, a detailed recording and analysis of the technical process requirements was carried out in requirement workshops with the stakeholders involved and an agile process model for implementation was defined. The implementation phase started with the evaluation of the technologies and the creation of prototypes, and the Brandmonks project management team also took over the design of the application architecture and the specification of the interfaces.

One of the main tasks of Brandmonks IT was to design the cross-system management of the business processes. Our consultants recorded the technical business processes within the entire application process, including all systems involved and their interaction, and designed the associated target process. In addition to integration consulting, architecture, design and implementation of the central integration solution, Brandmonks also took over the planning and coordination of the test phases before the application was introduced.
