Diego Zamora

The Diego Zamora Group is a 100% family-owned company based in Cartagena, Spain. It was founded in 1945 and is now run by Emilio Restoy, the third generation.

As a manufacturer and marketer of premium wines and spirits, Zamora has been able to grow sustainably, especially in recent years, by focusing on two strategic pillars. In the wine sector, the company has also been able to expand its international presence with Ramon Bilbao, the fastest-growing Riojam in Spain. In the liqueur sector, the heart of the company's portfolio, the liqueur brand Licor 43, has been established internationally for many years and has been able to drive growth in global markets even further in recent years.

Zamora has been able to increase its turnover by an average of 8% per year over the last three years and now has an annual turnover of over 140 million euros. Zamora employs 300 people worldwide with its own organizations in the USA and Spain. The share of international business outside the Spanish home market amounts to around 40% and is growing disproportionately in line with its strategic importance.
