SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 expands the previous SuccessFactors Onboarding solution with numerous useful functions. Improvements include a new user interface based on SAP Employee Central (EC) and an optimized configuration and management system.
Overall, the 2.0 version makes working with SuccessFactors Onboarding more flexible and straightforward for HR managers and administrators. For example, tasks can now be assigned to different responsibility groups and responsible persons, and the master data structure and database model can be shared with the entire SuccessFactors suite. The EC and Onboarding 2.0 modules do not need to be maintained twice because they use the same data model – the assignment of onboarding data to EC is no longer necessary. Other new features include authorization synchronization and the use of the Business Rule Engine to customize customer-specific requirements.
